Married to his wife Stacey for 30 years. They have twins, a boy and girl attending college at University of Washington and Texas Christian University. Greg attended the University of Oregon, where he played basketball for two years, and then continued his education at UCLA. Greg played professional basketball for 7 years; playing for a professional team in Finland for 1 year, and 6 years in Australia. Greg was also heavily involved in youth basketball development programs and coached the U18 Australian Boys Team. After retirement from basketball Greg competed professionally in triathlons around the world, competing in over 250 events, including the Ironman Triathlon in Hawaii, Japan and Australia.
Greg accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of 14 at a David Wilkerson Crusade and became very involved at Bel Air Presbyterian Church. Greg’s involvement with ministry has continued throughout his life. He was involved in Men’s Ministry for 10 years at Mariners Church in Irvine, CA and on staff at the church for two years in Men’s Ministry. Greg has served on the Board for Renewal Ministries for 5 years, and has been involved with Homeward Ministries. Greg was on the Orange County Board for FCA for over 6 years prior to becoming the OC Director. The family attends St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Newport Beach.
