Western Region Administrative Assistants

Jessica Goodman

Jessica was born and raised in Huntington Beach and now works for FCA under her father, Mark Boyer.   She lettered in tennis four years at Edison High School and when she graduated in 2003, she went on to play tennis at California State University, Long Beach.  After playing tennis for the 49ers she came on staff with FCA in 2004.  Jessica graduated from CSULB with a Business Degree.

Jessica became a Christian at a young age and has always been very involved in her youth groups and FCA.  She was president of her FCA club all 4 years of high school and volunteered for FCA after high school.  She was very excited to finally come on staff with FCA nearly ten years ago.  Jessica's passion for the ministry of FCA stems from the countless kid's lives that she has seen transformed by Jesus when they were "presented" with the gospel message at a FCA huddle.  Many of her younger family and friend's lives have also been impacted through this ministry.  Jessica’s responsibilities for FCA include administrative work and event planning.

In February of 2007 she married her high school sweetheart, Adam, who is currently on staff with FCA in Orange County.  Adam and Jessica live in Huntington Beach and in their free time watch football, cook, go on bikerides and spend time with their families. They have a son, Elijah Jeffrey (7) and three daughters: Grace Janna (6), Abigail Charlene (2) and Ruth Helen (1).

 Carlie Boyer

Carlie was born in Orange County, California as the fourth daughter of FCA Western Region VP, Mark Boyer. Carlie started to become involved with FCA in middle school when she attended a huddle at her local junior high. She went on to attend Edison High School where she played Varsity Tennis all four years. She also helped run the FCA huddle at Edison High School and became the Vice President of FCA her junior year and eventually the President her senior year.

During High School, Carlie attended FCA camp during the summer as a tennis camper. When she graduated high school she still attended FCA camp but as a huddle leader instead. She says that FCA camp has had a huge impact on her life and her faith.

After graduating from High School, Carlie went on to work towards her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration at Vanguard University of Southern California. She graduated from Vanguard University in the Spring of 2015 and came on staff with FCA soon after as the administrative assistant to Mark Boyer and HR person for the Western Region.

Carlie currently lives near her family in Huntington Beach, California and is very excited about being a part of the Western Region staff and helping them out in any way possible.
